  • These are THE THINNEST 1950s 15” Hihats you will find. Ultra Paper Thin.  YES that’s a 705 gram top over a 964 bottom. That Top would be thin on 13s”.  These are 75 year old 15s”!

  • Absolutely glorious REAL DEAL Hand Hammered Zildjians right here!  As good a sounding hihat as you will ever hear.
  • Super PAPER THIN Hand Hammered 15s” from the time when Thelonious Monk’s career was NEW. Literally made within the first few decades Zildjian went from confectionary to American cymbal smiths.

  • They look like 1940s Trans Stamp Hihats - that’s the look and sound.

  • A stunning 705 and 964 grams. Wonderfully light and THIN. Tight for a Motown tone. Open them for a beautiful RINGO SLOSH! The chick is right out of an early Oscar Peterson recording.

  • They're Hand Hammered all the way out to the edge - beautiful wavy surface in the Classic 1950s fashion.

  • No modern company makes anything like these. Although they’ll tell you they do for $700.

  • No need to bother with the “re-issues,” “vintage homage,” “throwback light Hihats” and all that.

  • Just get the originals!

  • Ultra Papery, whispy, super dark, warm and breathy.

  • They sound like they were pulled right from the Cotton Club.

  • Hand Hammered and absolutely stunning. Great CHUP tone.

  • These Zildjians are to be celebrated - for their tone, but also because of what they represent - a piece of American musical and business history.

  • It’s a joy playing 70 year-old cymbals! You can’t re-issue a life lived.

  • Very clean. Light use. Larger hole on bottom (makes them fit the modern hihat stand.) Remarkable that they survived the 80s.  Very hard to find the 1950s 15s”.

  • The thinnest 15” 50s Hihats I have ever seen!
