The time and effort put into this 22” is immediately apparent with the first strike. Weighing in at a gloriously THIN 2297 grams - this is one the THINNEST one of these I’ve seen.
This 22” Mehmet plays like an amazing semi-complex, overall SMOOTH, wonderfully dark sounding, Thin Ride or Light Crash Ride. The tone hints of darkness and is still glowingly warm and also undeniably buttery. The stick attack on the ride is prominent but subtle, it’s very evenly balanced.
One of the nicest sounding most versatile cymbals on the market. Dark. Crashable. Ride-able. Smooth with no harshness at all, and all with a fantastic hand hammered subtle complexity.
It’s an incredible tribute and testament to Tony’s sound.
