• Here’s a cymbal Zildjian made for 2 days in 1983.
  
  
• I have only seen 3 of these in 25 years.
  
  
• It must have been at the NAMM booth for that year and that was it.
  
  
• The 19” Medium Ride! 
  
  
• Much more controlled than its larger 20” brethren, this rare-sized Medium 19” makes a great Main Ride for low to medium volumes and smaller setups…
  
  
• OR….
  
  
• Makes a terrific Left Side Ride for larger configurations. 
  
  
• What’s interesting about this 40-year-old Zildjian is that it has the bright and LIGHT high end that is reminiscent of a late 1950s Zildjian - that light high-end Zildjian A tone you hear on records.
  
  
• But it’s also a little bit different, it’s more focused than the 50s ones snd has a bit of clean glassiness that you find in 80s As.
  
  
• Bright and Light with a fantastic bell for a 19”. It cuts quite well.
  
  
• It crashes like a big, full medium. 
  
  
• Amazing shape for being 4 decades old. 
  
  
• No issues. Very clean. Exceedingly rare.
