PERFECT Rare Sabian HHX MANHATTAN 17” Crash or Ride 1226 g Darker WARM Versatile CUSTOM?

And it’s in immaculate condition! Hell, even back in the day the Manhattan was a harder cymbal to come by.  And it hasn’t been in the catalog for a long time. This is the HHX 17” version. The only I’ve seen. 

Maybe you could custom order one??? For $500. But thankfully, there’s no need!  

A perfect blend of warm, smooth and a pinch of that famous Hand Hammered HHX complexity, this 1226 gram Manhattan crashes beautifully but ALSO makes a terrific smaller Quick Ride - a la Manhattan! 

Generous crash style bell yields a fantastic swell and wash with a bold attack but it’s not heavy handed. Very Light and responsive ride that has a quick response and remains controlled. 

Overall DARK and warm and fairly low in pitch for a 17”. It could easily pass as an 18” or 19” but it has the fast response of a smaller 17” Crash.  

Cuts quite well. Medium thin feel with enough tension to ride on. 

Perfect for very quiet to loud. Any genre or style. Extremely versatile.  Great bell for a smaller crash. Makes a fantastic Dark Warm Crash on a standard setup or the perfect Crash Ride or Main Ride on a smaller kit.
