  • As you can see these hard to find 14s” are HHX styled Hand Hammered Sabians with a raw bell and factory holes around the bell of the top cymbal.  This particular pair is very complex even for HHX style hats. And a 756 gram Top Cymbal is a beautiful thing!

  • 756 and 1160 grams makes these FRX hi hats THIN - especially for modern cymbals. The bottom hi hat is heavier giving them a terrific CHICK tone. 
  • But that 756 Thin Top makes these beauties DARK, slightly complex, incredibly responsive, and with this pair, fairly smoooooth.  

  • Again this particular pair is fairly complex - very Old School Hand Hammered light and lively tone when opened.  They have a bit of Vintage Zildjian Istanbul K mixed in there. The holes give them a pinch of broad spread.
