- Weighing in at a featherweight 864 grams for the Top Cymbal and 1104 grams for the Bottom Cymbal, these A and CIEs play like great warm Thin Hihats with a fantastic CHICK tone. 864 gram Top is wonderfully THIN for a modern Zildjian, which makes these 14s" wonderfully responsive and fairly dark.
- These Hihats have a terrific light, airy semi-papery tone that is definitely a throwback to the Thin and darker A's of yesteryear (40s, 50s)
- Hence the name.
- They are remarkably close to K Constantinople Hihats however they are just a pinch brighter and smoother sounding. They have that K Cons warmth and great response at lower volumes. All around very musical hihats.
- Perfect RINGO slosh when opened.
- Definitely some of the BEST thin modern Zildjians around (or no longer around.)
- Great for very low to medium loud settings. All genres. Match really well with K Constantinoples.
- Go toe to toe with any top shelf Zildjian hihats - especially K Cons.
