- As many of you may know, Istanbul built its name off their first endorser - Mel Lewis. And this Legend Series is that Mel Lewis Series - from back in the day when Agop and Mehmet played nicely together. If you find anything else close to this Istanbul it will run you $800.

- Dark. Low pitched. Super warm and lush with a light and airy subtle stick attack. What stands out about this particular one is that the edges are very thin and they BLUR when struck.
- Also, this one has a pinch of smokiness to it - it’s a bit more organic for the series. A little more complex, but still famously smooth and glowing.
- Insanely gorgeous, lush swells.
- Add the glow of two factory brass rivets and you have the perfect old school, main ride, or Left Side Crash Ride Sizzle.
